Beijing, November 10th, 2010 - Sinopec Corp. Yanshan Petrochemical plans to restart a refining unit with capacity of 2.5 million metric tonnes per year, reported its parent Sinopec Group on website on Wednesday.
Sinopec added that the unit would monthly produce 50,000 tonnes of diesel for easing tight diesel supply which are overwhelming the Chine market. since second half of the year, China has undergone tight diesel supply due to better trade situation, faster economic recovery and robust domestic demand under the pressure of the country's drive to save energy and reduce emission.
